When we came into relationship with Pastor Prasad we were overwhelmed by the sad plight of so many of the children in South India. Many were reported as orphans and some if their parents worked at all were earning £1 per day breaking stones. Apart from the great ministry work in which Pastor Prasad is involved he had a burden to open an orphanage. After much prayer we decided to establish The Living Word Academy under the supervision of Pastor & Mrs Prasad in June of 2008 which is intended to give 20 children a better quality of life. At the inauguration service it was wonderful to see the children being fed with proper food for the first time and receiving the necessary clothes and equipment for school. They are being housed in a rented building and there are three helpers on site to care for their daily needs. We receive continuous updates and personal communications even from the children themselves who testify to their improved quality of life.

In order to support this mission we hold Quiz Nights from time to time. We would welcome any contributions to help give hope to these children in desperate need.
